Exactly what I was thinking! I wish the discussion had continued once we had the imagery. It was amazing - keeping, selling, keeping, returning...

Me too. The seller also relisted the Sgt. Pepper Ringo signature that’s included in the comparison. There’s also a Macca signature on that one. The seller states that it too will pass the test, despite the fact that it apparently was previously removed from sale by eBay.

Here’s a link to a discussion started by eBay seller beatlesforever. You can see the Sgt. Pepper that was removed by eBay, but is once again for sale. There’s also a Macca “signed” Hofner bass that was removed by eBay at the same time. It subsequently was sold with no mention of the signature, which appears to be in the same hand as the one on the Sgt. Pepper. The $99.99 High In the Clouds mentioned in the discussion also was sold.

it looks like the Ringo listing was pulled, but the Sgt Pepper item is still there

It sure was. They must have just pulled it.

Here's a new listing from eBay seller thebeatlesforever. This time there's no claim that it will pass the "Cox Caiazzo test."

Paul McCartney signed lefthanded Hofner Pickguard Fits the Hofner Ignition Series which are fairly affordable under 400 dollars put it on and you have a very nice and valuable Paul collectable.

Two more from eBay seller thebeatlesforever that are "guaranteed to pass the Perry Cox Frank Caizzio [sic] test."

Has Perry responded to any of this? It is very odd wording in that text after this thread.

Not that I’m aware of.

I believe that this also belongs here. It's from eBay seller advancedbuyersmarkets.https://www.ebay.com/itm/233347117013

And this is his last feedback:
