I found an autograph book filled with 20 signatures from the movie "Picnic", dated June 1955. There approximately 6 main characters in the booklet and 15 others. If I had this appraised, what price would I be looking at approximately?

There are many factors in appraising this. There are some nice main characters but there are also a couple of others which have decent value including Raymond Bailey and Rita Shaw. Let's say all the signatures are authentic the other extremely important factors would be condition of the autographs and if they are all signed on individual pages or there are signatures on the front and the back. Without seeing the book there is no way to properly value it.
One signature per page. It does have Rita Shaw but not Raymond. They are in pencil and are in very good shape.
I know it may be hard to believe but Raymond would have probably been the most prized. Holden could be worth $150 to $200. Rita could bring $100, maybe more. The others are less valued.
I figured Rosalind Russell would have been the most. I want to keep the booklet together, so I will have to get an estimate for the whole thing. Thanks for helping me out. Is there another website forum that would be able to be more specific? And if it is you I can get more details for you to help in the determination.
Without actually seeing what you have I would estimate the value of the autograph book at $500 or so. Kim Novak and Rosalind Russell are nice autographs but not very pricey.
Does it have Kim Novak or Arthur O'Connell? Reta Shaw is quite sought after and as Joe said so is Raymond Bailey. Pencil signatures as a general rule do not bring as much as ink ones.
Don't know about value but Picnic is one of my favorite movies. Great soundtrack and a classic scene when Holden dances with Novak who couldn't look more beautiful. keep the graphs together,I wouldn't break them up.
I definitely won't break up the booklet!
