I'd definitely leave it as-is. A restoration expert may be able to bring out the signature, which would be a better option. What's the story? Fill us in.
It's really hard to authenticate autographs signed on cloth, but these look pretty good to me.
Basically the listing didn’t have good pics - they are easier to see in person and I took a chance - the Gilmour has photo proof. Steve, what type of restoration person? I don’t know who would do that type of thing. I was thinking about getting it framed with the album if they won’t fade more.
I know nothing of signed fabrics of age, ink fading of course an issue, fiber degradation perhaps (that I know a bit about), but I REALLY like this item!
