Pink Floyd - fully signed Animals record - real or fake?

IMG_2545.PNG

i bought this on eBay from a seller who claims to have worked in the music industry for just over 50 years, starting in 1966 as a trainee sound engineer working under Sir George Martin and continued to work for EMI up till the mid 90s, extensively with all of the bands signed to EMI records.

it all sounds a bit too good to be true so I want the opinion of th specialists. You guys.

what do you guys think? Real or Fake?

thanks.

This is terrible.

Fake then?

really bad forgery... sorry

Bummer. It's that old saying... when something looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Forget the story - look at the signatures. Terribly poor unskilled "attempts". Agree with all above.

How about this one from Roger? Also bought it but not for much.

maybe I can get refunds on these from eBay.

Hello Nuno, I would spend time looking at the exemplars at Corey's Floyd site. As for refunds, did you pay with a CC or PayPal?

CC registered on PayPal, I believe.

so this one is fake too, ha? Jesus Christ.

Well, then you likely have recourse. Others here know more about that.

As for the rest - look at it this way. The forger(s) may not be willing to even look at authentic signatures, but you can - you can study them day and night at Corey's excellent Floyd resource:

FloydAuthentic.com

Sorry Nuno.  These Waters signatures, along with the full Floyd signed Animals, are all bad. None are authentic, IMO.  Very poor forgeries too.

Sorry these are all terrible fakes. Initiate a return and get your money back ASAP. And if you want a real Floyd signed lp, expect to pay over 2k, maybe higher nowadays.

complete flodys are going thru the roof now a few grand to ten plus depending on the album placent contrast.
