Proper in person etiquette

Going to Los Angeles in 2 weeks and am far from being a pro. Looking to score some autographs from my girl's favorite shows for her birthday coming up and I'm wondering what the best way to go about this is. I know there's a chance of being shot down no matter how you approach some of them but what is the best case scenario in getting a poster signed by multiple actors?

More specifically Grey's Anatomy. I've got a buddy who's brother in law got 4 autographs on this poster. I ordered the poster just thinking of using a regular black sharpie and get it framed for her

I vaguelly know the show because my wife use to watch it. I think most of these actors on the postet are not on the show anymore. Other then the studio where else were you going to try and get them?

Yeah most of them aren't on the show anymore but I've been told they are still in the city and the others are going to be filming at that time there as well. Apparently they film in both Seattle and Los Angeles. I'm waiting to hear back from my buddy to tell me where I can try for the others who aren't on the show anymore. He said his brother in law managed to get the autographs he got all individually and none were at the set. Of course he'd gotten them over a course of 3 weeks and I won't be there as long but it's worth a shot.

There's a cafe Sandra Oh goes to religiously out there apparently so I figure that's where I'd try for her if I couldn't catch her on set. Thats my girl's favorite character so even if I only walk away with her and nobody else I'd still consider it a win.

I went to a violent femmes gig and ran into my girlfriend (friend) who is extremely attractive as also her friends. Anyway Brian Ritchie wouldn't let me back stage but he signed my lp. So if you have long legs and t*** you have a good chance off getting what you want.

Another time I watched some guys pull out a hash pipe and blast up with the dandy warhols , I never seen so many drugs onstage at the merch stand. I wouldn't recommend using drugs to get close to artist or movie stars. Try being polite.
