Questions On Music items from UK dealer

Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site. I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.

Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale. In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake. The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.

He might not know there is a problem.

Yes, the Michael Jacksons are still being sold by some. As are the McCartneys, and no doubt the Slashes, Clint Eastwoods and other A-Listers supposedly sourced from Adrian Longden. They are being offered on Facebook, Amazon and by email.

Most AFTAL dealers, however, have voluntarily stopped selling the MJs at least, and many the McCartneys and anything else they bought from Longden's big distributor, Dominic Manning http://behindthescenes.org.uk.

I noticed that Manning is now proudly displaying on his site that he's AFTAL's In Person Dealer of the Year.

So you have seen the Jacksons being re offered by UK Dealers on some web sites that are from the Batch of Jacksons that Adrian obtained and supplied ?

Can I ask about Clint Eastwood / A listers and Slash, was there a story raised here accusing Adrian of supplying those ? did I miss that thread ?

It just seems to get deeper and deeper

Gary, I believe that the thread was deleted because it contained a collection of personal insults that resulted in a member being banned. If I know DB he probably has it saved somewhere.

I don't believe so. Most of the discussion focused on the Michael Jackson autographs. I could be wrong since it has been a long time.

Roger discovered the MJs and McCartneys were from Adrian Longden at the same time, when a client came in with a stack of each he had just got in from Adrian.

now i understand the Macca / Jackson connection , also Roger stated that a Wings over America lp that was signed by Denny Laine and had Adrian obtain a Macca onto the sleeve was fake also !

From what I heard, Adrian didn't limit himself to MJ and McCartney. Basically anything that came from him or his distributors needs to be assumed fake until proven otherwise.
