Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site. I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.
Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale. In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake. The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.
He might not know there is a problem.

ok mate, thanks for the update
For those that know,
Is the question from this point on what AFTAL is going to do as far as the recall process?
From what i have read, the Adrian MJ's have been proven to be definetly fake by Roger and others, no 2 ways about it. While that may not mean much to some, it would seem that the good dealers out their probably will here of Roger and others concerns and stay away from them and Adrian. It would seem that the obvious things that will happen include kicking Adrian out of the organization and recalling the MJ's. Based on that i dont know what else would have to be asked except how to best recall the items.
But i will eagerly await to see along with everyone else.
No, the question is what is the position & path that AFTAL is going to take. There are two options and depending on which option they choose there may be some decisions they have to make. What portion of those decisions or path for that matter that is included in this 3 ring circus statement announcement at this point is anyone's guess. Nothing is obvious at this junction.

We live in hope,
All I can say is that if AFTAL announce them to be fake and all of Adrians other supplied items also, its going to cost a lot of people a lot of money in repayments and settlements
Can I pose a question.............
Will all of the buyers of the sold items if called Fake by AFTAL be contacted ?
Will they be told of this situation ?
Will they be advised that doubts have been cast, and authenticity is in queston ?
Will they be refunded their purchase price ?
Obviously this is Hyperthetical as AFTAL beleive the items to be genuine (100%)
But let us see
Surely a good well respected dealer will refund their buyers ?
Thus save any hassle in the long run........................
I will do my Nostradamus predictions again ..lol
You watch .....these type of signatures will appear and re appear time after time and the confusion everytime
US dealers rejecting them, AFTAL dealers advising they are 100% genuine
The only way to stop it would every dealer whoever sold one, no matter who supplied the item to them, contact their purchasers right away.
Advise them there is confusion and advise them of a money back refund for return of the said items
End of forecast .....................
Now I dont think this will occur as a serious amount of money on Mark up from Purchase price to Retail price was made
Let us say ............. $1000 profit per item, do we really beleive a Dealer will refund this without being advised to do so ?
I will let the forum think that one over
Rick
The AFTAL board will do the right thing, they have too
Dont they ?
AFTAL will do whatever the lawyers advise them to do regardless of what they feel the right thing to do is.
