Well, there's actually nothing questionable about them to me; I'm just being polite. Among the problems are the completely wrong 'S' and the fact that he simply doesn't write such a large signature.

Here are 2 completed items from the same seller that I reported when they were first listed. Nothing was done and they were sold to unwitting buyers.

Here's the nice generic signing picture used for "proof", which was appropriated from this blog about the London Super Comic Convention

Here are a couple of legit Stan Lee CGC Signature Series autographs for quick comparison.

I have Stan Lee on a couple things from when he was at the Pittsburgh Comic Con last year.  Those top ones with the large graph are for sure not authentic.

I would agree.  I've met Stan a couple of times at the Pittsburgh Comic Con and at the Chicago Comic Con (Wizard World) and have 30-40 different items signed by him.  These look nothing like my Stan Lee autographed  photos, books, cards, etc.

Yeah, these are pretty wildly off base.  You can get a real, bonafide Lee autograph for about $50 anyway.  Official Pix has some signed photos up on it's site right now in fact.

Michael I met him at the NY Con and these are really bad.  When he signs standing up they are a little off but not like this.  Btw he charged me $40 a pop at the show.

I have to echo this. Through the years, I have met Stan several times.  The items with the larger signature from the beginning of the thread are NOT authentic in my opinion.

Oh my  goodness what terrible forgeries, I really feel sorry for the poor people that buy all this garbage.

These are tremendously terrible forgeries, of course. It's unfortunate for the buyers. If the information about forgeries and safe places to purchase autographs were more known, they might not be bought in the quantity they are.

I came across a brand new seller offering a Stan Lee signed comic which shows an interesting similarity to the ones I originally posted.

Checking to see what other items he had for sale revealed these gems-

The Elvis record has 4 bids for $3.91 as of this writing. Truly remarkable.

Definitely a bunch of crap, Tom.

Yup, we've found a lot more crap and aliases from the same seller, which we're discussing over here-

These are all gone now.
