Well, there's actually nothing questionable about them to me; I'm just being polite. Among the problems are the completely wrong 'S' and the fact that he simply doesn't write such a large signature.

Here are 2 completed items from the same seller that I reported when they were first listed. Nothing was done and they were sold to unwitting buyers.
Here's the nice generic signing picture used for "proof", which was appropriated from this blog about the London Super Comic Convention

Here are a couple of legit Stan Lee CGC Signature Series autographs for quick comparison.

Cool, but I would still say that's pretty atypical. Any chance you could post a pic so we can add to our knowledge base?
Seller kristine*84 from above is back at it as cjgowithit. Same location, same forgery style, same lie about getting them signed at the Portland Comic-Con, and lo and behold another Kurt Cobain signed cassette in the completed listings, which the lucky buyer got for $355.

Geez, those are terrible.
Kinda looks like Slash signed them.
The seller is trying to turn beat up comics worth 20 cents into something valuable.
Let me ask... if you were meeting Stan Lee at a comic con and paying his $55 fee, would you use a beat up modern Punisher comic that he had nothing to do with?
Rubbish.
Exactly, these lowest-level forgers use any piece of junk they have laying around the house that often doesn't have anything to do with the person in question. Keeps their overhead low I guess.
ebay seller: nownowcookies2012 offers this bogus signature with a bogus proof pic, claiming the proceeds will go to his friend's cancer treatment. I'm sure that last part's not bogus though, right? Seller also has a bunch of suspect music signed items from his "father's estate" visible in completed listings and feedback.

I'd hardly be shocked if the "cancer treatment" part was as bogus as the rest of it.
Yup, when you offer a "proof" pic for a clearly bogus item, that establishes you as intentionally deceitful, plain and simple. You can't claim the old "I'm not an expert in autographs/I got them somewhere else" ignorance defense, and everything else you say is equally unbelievable.
Only the lowest form of scum would use some "cancer" story to sell fakes.
Stan Lee's minimum signing fee is around $60 if I am not mistaken (which goes to charity). How anyone can then sell real ones for $30 (where these fakes usually end up) just doesn't add up.
The item in question is undoubtedly bad. For what it is worth, I recently sent this to a Stan Lee private signing and it was signed on February 2, 2013. This is a real Stan Lee sig.
Wow, that's a sweet piece Mr. Z. That Kirby Milestone issue is a real hot item, and to add Stan to it is just super!
Wow, that's legit!
You're right about the price. I paid $55 for Stan at Wizard World last year. Official Pix was selling signed photos on their website for $50 (since sold out). That looks to be about the absolute minimum I've seen recently.
ebay seller timperkins4u (0 ) offers this bunch up, including a way off-base Curt Swan.
