Found these two McCartney signatures on Ebay, and wanted thoughts from more experienced collectors on them! The Space Between Us DVD seems legit to me based on the way the ink looks and based on the story the seller provided to indicate it was obtained at a Virgin Megastore signing in Nov. 2006 (which did match up from news clippings I saw online of the event occurrence), but I am less sure about the 2007 dated photo, as while the seller seemed nice enough, the COA is from All-Star Entertainment Inc. and I did not find much about them in a quick Google search (so insight into their reliability would be great if there is any insight).

Thanks as always for helping out a novice Beatles autograph collector decipher truth from forgery! Cheers xx

The signed DVD cover looks good to me too. I don’t believe that the other one is authentic.

I agree the picture looks bad but don’t have a comment on the other.

I don't like either but think the first one has more of a chance than the second one

The picture has absolutely no chance of being authentic.

The DVD is being  sold by beatleworld who used to be on here

Then it’s good.

I think the seller is trustworthy dont know enough about pauls hand writing styles to give a view on authenticity

Don't know who "beatleworld" is, but I wouldn't touch anything not authenticated by Frank Caiazzo. Problem is he doesn't hire out to collectors anymore; you have to have an established relationship with him (as his good customers and some of the top Beatles dealers and auction houses do). I have about ten genuine McCartney's in my collection with signatures from 1963-2021, including one I got in person. All authenticated by Frank (one for sale on CraigHopkins.com right now). I just got The Lyrics last week, and as you can see from photos of those signed books online, his signature has changed again - no more "t" and no "y." His signatures vary quite a bit, and as one of the most forged autographs in history, it pays to have an actual expert opinion. It's not that difficult to find Beatles or McCartney autographs that Frank has authenticated, but just as with everything else, Frank's letters show up forged on occasion. As for the two photos in this post, I don't like either one of them, but I'm not an expert. I have been studying Beatles since the 1980's when I got my first set.

I think very highly of Frank too. That said, experts make mistakes on occasion. Just about every McCartney forgery style that I’m aware of has been authenticated by one or more experts.
