Recently I was on a mission to get an authentic Heath Ledger autograph. I posted a message here and on the(RACC)asking fellow members if anyone had either a graded Heath Ledger or an authentic Ledger. Luckily I found one here from an awesome member who was very kind and helpful. Now on the RACC members page I received offers from a bunch of scammers. Here is one in particular that looked fake as hell to me. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought this one looked fake. The seller also told me he's not looking for top dollar but to make sure I decide now because he was going to put it on the RACCs member page the following day. He did not...Any opinions?

I'm from the philosophy if you don't know what to do...do nothing at all.  I'll likely post it as is and let the buyer decide.  As I get older simplicity has so much more value  haha.

That's great advice Michael and should also be done here on our forum.

I'm going to post what you wrote on RACC just as a precautionary for everyone, and I suggest folks here follow the same tip on our forum (we also do not charge to list items for sale).

#RACCTip #RACCReminder We don't charge any fees for any transactions here on RACC so word of advice... NEVER do transactions with people you don't know (and maybe even ones you do) without having them post the item images here. It makes no sense that people would not want to promote their genuine products here on RACC to increase the likelihood of a sale while also becoming eligible for the Trusted Sellers list. It makes complete sense that they'd hide their items in a PM to try to prevent others from calling out fakes.

We've also had more than our fair share of scammers on the forum lurking and I'm sure trying to sell privately to folks behind the scenes.

Hello, I posted on RACC, my Ledger was obtained in person with witnesses. I have nothing to hide.
I am selling mine and will be on RACC this weekend at a fair price
A opportunity for a dealer to make money and for a collector to buy at a amazing price.
My reasons ?

It cost me nothing,
I didn't even go to the event for him.
I was collecting other people at the time, hence the index card , I had no photos with me

Hope this answers any questions, I am no scammer

Gary you have people vouching for you and your item - I wasn't bring up your item :)

We do have scammers on our forum though.  And I want people to be aware.

Michael wrote it best on the RACC group and I wanted to share exactly what he wrote, so I posted it to our forum members as well.  Its a good guideline for any site that has autograph selling happening :)

hi Wascher
My comments were not directed at you, but thanks anyway for the clarification
This fellow Meathead , I wonder could he clarify some of the questions raised ? Or is he a scammer !

I wouldn't buy yours because of that damned logo on the paper, Mike.

LolImage result for hater

You know that logo on it makes it look so much more classy...Admit it.  I'm going to start having my guitars have my logo all over the body of them.  One big logo body.

Brilliant! Simply Brilliant!!!

Hello Daehtaem
I'm amazed at your accusation

I obtained this myself in person in London at the Film Critic Awards 2008
I have witnesses I obtained this also. These witnesses are well known collectors and dealers in London

LEdger had only just broke big time and was accessible at events and at night clubs in LA, where I also got him at a bar on Hollywood Blvd

I do not like being accused of being a scammer or faker
Especially being called out by someone who obviously does not know much about autographs or the collecting of autographs !

Your an expert on Heath Ledger apparently ? Lol

I See you asking constantly for opinions on all kinds of autographs, you really are some expert !

If you have a problem with me deal directly and get your facts correct. Please stop making allegations behind your pseudonym

My name is Gary Harvey and I have collected autographs since 1974 in person and all over the world. Many people know me and know of me as a honest guy not a scammer or faker

As for you Mr Meathead , who the hell are you ?

Move on and leave me alone

Thank you
Show us the graph you got from the awesome collector.
Be brave also and reveal yourself

Scammers on racc! More like used car salesmen.
