I would appreciate any feedback on the possible authenticity of the below signature on a Happy Chapin book. I think this is reasonable based on some other examples I have seen, but it appears to be more of a rushed signature from my perspective. Thanks for any informed thoughts on this piece.

Here is my Harry Chaplin signed book for comparison.

Thanks for the feedback. There is similarity between the example I posted and yours. Yours is much more fully formed imho. I am thinking of passing on the one I posted as either a) it is real but just a damn lazy signature or b) or its not quite the real thing. In either case I am still unsure about the signature, but do appreciate your posting for sake of comparison.

I think you're wise not to buy that one. A lot of the small details are different from what I'd want to see.
