Here's a signed poster that I'm sure most of you guys have already seen.It was sold on rr a while back and more recently on iconic. The first picture is of the piece in its original untouched condition.the second picture is of the same piece with major restoration work to it.The owner was asking me if I was Interested in buying it.With that kind of work done to a piece such as this, should I totally pass on it.How much can this effect the value?

Nothing to be gained from speculation in those areas, IMHO.

It could simply indicate it is a problem piece, imagine under UV light it must look like Luna Park. Could be a tough sell (should be) - but disclosure...did not notice? I don't know...I don't even know the seller or buyer other than what I said/shown here.

I don't see any good answer coming from "no, I did not say/know it was restored"...we will see what is said.

I don't know Iconic's policies, so I thought that the $11,500 price might have been the reserve.

In this case it was clearly the final bid with the juice.Im going to call Jared at iconic and talk to him about the piece.

Good luck Paul. Please straighten out this timeline for me as well as let us know what happened - not sure I am following this correctly.

Guys I will am going to talk to iconic and also the seller ,I am in no way buying anything from this person without getting all the facts and I will present you guys everything I am told.I didn't realize that in my discription of the piece that I left out an important piece of this puzzle. My bad for sure. The first thing I'm going to ask is why he withheld the resto information.I will let you guys know what he says.
Off the topic, i have been emailing the lady who had my Beatles lp signed, which is amazing to say the least. I found out she carried the lp around for months and George wasn't at the studio as often as the other and he would rarely sign.
Back to the main event.

Any updates,Haki?

Not yet.called Jared at iconic and he wasn't around.however,I was able to talk to the owner via email and he gave me his phone number.I'm calling him tomorrow.I'm going to play stupid and see if he admits to the resto.

It very difficult to tell without seeing it in person or someone else who can kind of grade it for you.

What Beatles LP do you have?
Me,
White lp signed John and Paul.
Sgt Pepper signed Paul, John , Ringo.
Very nice.
