the one that you and ballroom show are both unusual but both have the Ringo feel.  the one in the subject does not in my opinion.  I recognize the fact that I am extremely cautious with regards to opinions, but with the amount of forgeries out there, I am very careful.  are you certain that the one in your pic is authentic?  just curious.  was it in person?

Yup...it's the real thing...just so happens to have a different "g"...from a well known person in the music industry..

John Lennon signed lots of autographs in Philly for WFIL radio in May 1975 for their "Helping Hands" radio marathon to raise money. He went outside to HUGE crowds...and he signed a bunch of items that weekend...not every "J" in John looked the same...etc.You know what I mean? Just because the marker went a different way doesn't mean it's not a Ringo...

I understand what you are saying.  I buy into your signature.  I do not buy into the one in the subject, I don't care who authenticates it.  its not the same thing as John varying the Js.  Its the entire signature.

I agree with Terrier. I don't think Helen's Ringo is genuine. The g and the o are what set me off; everything about them looks wrong to me. Roger has 10 Ringos and they're pretty consistant. Take a look: www.signedsealeddel.com

What is wrong with the "o"? It looks fine to me.

If you were told it was signed after October 2008, it is definitely fake. RIngo put out that infamous youtube video then telling people he was quiting signing all together.

i believe the ringo in question is real. it wouuld make no sense for a forger to be that good with 'rin'... and then make 'g' look that bad. ringo is not as easy to fake as it may seem. i personally would stay clear of this as it is wierd. there are many ringo's out there that are cut and dried real.

Good advice.

Xpert sums it up perfectly.  even if it is good, its bad.  there are so many better examples out there, why would anyone want this in their collection?  some of the other photos posted here look a little different with the "g" but they are definitely Ringo.  I still think this one, while probably authentic, is too strange.

It depends upon the price/trade. I think the signature is pretty decent and it's on a Beatles CD. I certainly would trade one of my nicely signed Ringo promo photos for it.
