sorry, no good.

Doesn't look "normal" = bad

This autograph was obtained through the mail in the 1970's. I know it doesn't look like recent exemplars. Any chance he used ghost signers for mail requests in the 70's or that possibly this example could indeed be a 40 year old exemplar?

I don't think the star  after just ringo was added  consistently  till 92 or so, It doesn't look like any example Ive seen.

Did Ringo look like that in the 70's?  Seems like a later picture.  I have encountered him several times in person, no dice.  I did get him at an in-store event in 2003.  This one doesn't look close to me.

you are right john. this photo of ringo is mid to late 80's.

He didn't do the stars until early 90s, but doesn't mean he didn't occasionally do one. I often thought it was odd...that Ringo NEVER, EVER EVER signed autographs in public. EVER. Howard Stern even made fun of him for not doing it, and Ringo said he didn't care. Yet he always, always ALWAYS (until recently) signed in the mail. It made me think he had people do fake ones in the mail for him. I always suspected that, but...it seems when he did sign in the mail, people sometimes sold them, and nobody said they were fake. Seems weird that somebody would be so adament about not signing in person, but sitting around signing thousands in the mail.

He was always my least favorite beatle, being the least talented but just having an arrogance about him. I couldn't see him sitting around signing, he probably got tired of employing a ghost signer. I heard him on Stern also, he doesn't like to sign and could care less. Peace and love. I would be interested in seeing his through the mail sigs.

I have a couple of in-person Ringo signed photos from the mid-90's. I purchased them from someone who asked Ringo to sign and number(!) three copies of the same photo. Ringo laughed and said "okay", and proceeded to sign and number two of them. Unfortunately, he was called away by someone before he got to the third one.
