I loved her in Murder by Death. A great actress, also in Richard III w McKellen.

Also a great wit and raconteur.

One of my most pleasant childhood memories is of watching (peering through the railings) the filming of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie which took place literally around the corner from our house. I wish I could tell of snagging some autographs but unfortunately at that age I was more excited by all the vintage motor-vehicles driving around the neighbourhood
