I found this on isitreal.com
Seems as if it might be his secretary of the 70s an 80s, his friend Mark Miller. His "sigs" indeed had a non-continuous R, and the "Best" is also quite fitting (examples 3 and 4).
Here is an example of his signature as a high school senior. Before becoming Rock Hudson.
Already looking like a future movie star!
