Hi There,

Here in NZ again on www.trademe.co.nz there are 3 Guitars claiming to be signed by the Rolling Stones.

Auction 1: http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instruments/music-memorabilia/other/...

Auction 2: http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instruments/music-memorabilia/other/...

Auction 3: http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instruments/instruments/guitar-bass/...

I've also attached a main photo for each in case the links are not working.

Your thoughts and feedback are welcome. Auction 1 to me looks a definite fake but I welcome your feedback.

Thanks,

Dan

IMO they look like yours .

But its ok for you to bag others but if someone says something to you, you get the poos

Kayleen, then you go buy these items and enjoy them.  Don't come crying to this site though when you want to sell them and no auction house will accept them or they get pulled Ebay in a matter of minutes.

I'm not trying t prove anyone wrong,i am just asking a legit question, how can you tell someone their item is not genuine when you don't know the circumstances are obtained.

why am i getting abused a legit question,i thought that's what this site is all about

Kayleen, you are way out of line here. Unless you can prove Roger is wrong perhaps you should not say anything. I know several people who have used Roger's services and he has saved several people thousands of dollars and stopped them buying fakes as well as his authentication increasing the prices when selling items. I would trust Roger over your opinion anyday!

I am not out of line. i just asked a question.

Not once did I say that Rogers guitar was not Authentic.

I asked the question because all the items on Rogers site for The Rolling Stones look different.

IMO I don't like the look of the guitar even Ron's looks sloppy to the other Stones items Roger sells online.

This is what this site is all about having an opinion. Not to get  belittled by everyone

My reading of this tells me she is not stating roger is wrong but is asking about how he can make such distinctions as a bad signing vs a forgery. And Roger then answered the question in a logical fashion, nuff said.

For instance, one odd thing about roger's guitar is that it appears one sig  goes under the hardware where the strings enter the body.  This is odd, but does not reclect on whether it is a forgery or not. Thus i point this out, but am not saying anyone is wrong just in case above.

I am not playing games,i just asked you a question and you jumped down my throat.

To me that is very is unprofessional.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Amazing that charity auctions try and rip people off and at $5,650 and rising I hope the site remove this one and the other 2 as well.

Kayleen,

Here are images of the three Rolling Stones guitars in the Trademe auction, followed by Roger's guitar. Please compare them carefully and see if they really do look like his.

Only one of the Trademe guitar listings has images of individual signatures.

Individual autographs from the guitar above:

Hi Steve,

i have only asked one question, how can someone say these are not legit when they don't know when and where these were signed.

is this going to become a war against me just for asking question which is still has not been answered?

Kayleen,

There's no war against you. You said that the autographs on the Trademe guitars looked the autographs on Roger's guitar. I brought them all together for you to compare and let us know if you still feel that way once you study them.

Your question, how can someone say these are not legit when they don't know when and where these were signed, is a good one. I think you'll get some insightful responses.

I answered your question CLEARLY on the other blog you posted on.  Don't play games
