I have a questions about RR auctions, are the things they sell legitimate?

I think what your referring to involves hidden reserves, and not extended bidding.

After the auction ended there was a clear extended bidding period..

Could you have extended bidding with a reserve?

Yes. There can be bids placed during extended bidding that don't meet the reserve price.

They're not perfect, I can always find some items I'd question and this month is no different, but they're as close to a paragon as this hobby has.
