Salvaged this Nick Mason signed Dark Side of the Moon Vinyl

I picked up this DSOTM album for $100 because of the paint pen splotches from a pen rolling across the vinyl while the guy had him sign other items. Knowing its acrylic and this cover is pretty waxy, I took a chance with isopropyl alcohol. Did the best I could. The foggy areas were already imbedded in the cover and were not shown in the original listing picture. This item was already authenticated by beckett. Its not perfect but it is much more presentable. Thought I would share because it does require a certain technique where the alcohol has to sit for a bit before using a clean qtip to roll the paint off (rolling the clean qtip in the same motion while wiping so paint doesn't smear on the cover while wiping it off)

I like where he signed it. :-)

Thats a big factor on why I pulled the trigger. I have other Mason signed items but working on displaying some of my vinyl in our windowless gym/music room. I saw this more as a decoration to fill out my display when I made the offer.  This item was "damaged" already no matter what I decided to do with it, hence why my offer was accepted. Ill be happy with it the rest of my life so thats all that matters.

I just wanted to share how I thought it was cool that an accidentally messed up item still can have a purpose and be enjoyed.

It came out very nice :-)
