dang

I found an example of the red marker version on ebay.. when you buy from Coles, you randomly get a black or a red. Im not a fan of the red at all. I went in on this with 3 other people and bought 5 total to keep shipping down. This is going to cause problems . Hopefully I'll get lucky and all 5 books will be signed in black.. just something to consider for anyone who will make a bulk purchase with other people to ship to the USA

$99 or not, they are Sold Out…

Haha thats interesting.. still available on coles. As for the ones that just sold out, no one knows if those are also bookplates. I actually dont mind the bookplate. This is probably the last book ill ever buy for my collection. One is staying intact for my daughter. Ill be cutting mine to loosely mat it with Twister (Humans Being) related photos and placed in a binder.

The summer of 1996 was a really memorable time for me and its highlighted by watching Twister and listening to  No Doubts Tragic Kingdom countless amounts of times. 26 years after it all begun, the same day I placed the order at Coles for Hagar, I also scored a signed CD of Tragic Kingdom on the secondary market.. that really made me happy and im still can't wipe the smile off my face... im about to take a break from this hobby and while I'm not done yet, this is a great way to start winding it down

Video he posted shows him signing them on the cover with a silver marker…

Just found it on his Facebook page. Thanks for posting that.. very strange. I would definitely prefer the bookplate. Heres a screenshot

Just received all 5 copies ordered from Coles. Shipped global priority. I had to sign for them. Super fast delivery from the UK to Illinois.. they wrapped each book individually and double boxed the order. Nicely done!

My only gripe, all 5 were signed in red. The plus side is we are all stuck with 1 color and its easy to distribute with everyone who went in on this order. Ill live with a red version.. overall, its a really nice book. Its something I would consider buying unsigned if I saw it in store on sale. Im sure you can find cocktail recipes online easy enough but to have this as part of a bar feels like it would class it up a bit more. There is a general "stocking the cabinet" section which is a good idea but I wish he would have had a section to list every item individually you would need to stock in order to enjoy any cocktail listed at any moment. I may eventually make my own list and see if its doable.

If you can go in with a few people to bring the average price down after shipping is calculated, I'd say go for it. Im extremely happy for the price I paid after dividing the total cost between us all.

Jason, good to know thanks for the update. Yeah black might have been a better signing but hey he is 'the RED ROCKER' right so red is his thing! On top of which even at normal shipping overseas it's still a far cry than what was sold out domestically and was lazily signed on the cover, which IMO is one of the worse places to sign a book,I'll take a tip-in or even a bookplate inside anyday over a cover signature, but hey that's just me.

Restock up on his website now

Interesting. I wonder if he signed the inside with this 2nd batch. Still too pricy for me though. Im happy with the Coles bookplate
