Maybe the app takes the average price of all the MJ signed items that sell on ebay, including all of the fakes and reprints. There's my guess.

They said a Tupac Shakur signature is worth $200 but the last PSA cut at rrauction went for $2,200

Yeah, I don't recall the guide ever being perfectly spot on, but that sounds like some pretty drastic incompetence to me when you have a tenfold error in pricing on two of the biggest names in music from the past few decades.

True, but in my Sanders guide, their are various prices listed for various signed items. Im not gonna go through it and look for 2pac but i imagine that quote was for a cut signature. Which would still seem a bit low but not by more than a few hundred i would think. They typically then list prices for signed letters, albums, photos, etc. And of course the cut signatures are always the lowest.

Im not sure what sold on R and R, but i would be shocked if a cut 2pac with just his sig sold for 2 grand. I dont know what Pac autos go for but i wouldnt expect a cut signature to go for more than 4 to 5 hundred dollars.

The Sanders Guide print edition was lad published in January 2009 and the prices haven't been revised for the iPhone app.

They should add that information in the apple marketplace. I paid for an app was last updated in January 09...

Yes it is really out of date and should be taken down so as not to take advantage of people. Its like reading a 1960  magazine in 1990, just does not cut it anymore....
