the signature is questionable, and where it was signed is not typical at all for a HOF plaque. I would avoid this.

Thanks.

This came in a large through the mail collection I recently purchased. The collector was meticulous and kept the return envelopes. This one was returned in 1987. He had included an additional Dodger post card of Koufax that was returned unsigned.

I figured if he was using a ghost signer they would have signed both. It just looked too close to his autograph for me to believe it was secretarial. It obviously is not a recent forgery attempt but you could be right and it might be secretarial.

Reportedly, some TTM requests were done by a Koufax proxy signer. I suspect this is one of them.

his older signatures were pretty consistent.  I got him in the mail in the early 80's and he personalized it to me.

i agree with the others, leaning towards 'not authentic'....a couple things i don't like about it, but most notably the end of the signature
