hi all

ive been a collector or many years mainly James Bond.

I have sold most of my collection due to me moving into my first house and ive never ever had an issue as all of my collection was either obtained personally or from UACC dealers etc.

My Connery was sold recently and the buyer is telling me this is a fake and I think its real!

what are your thoughts?

It was purchased from a UACC dealer in the USA and this is the story I was given below.

I know the Connery was obtained in person by a friend of mine in Los Angeles. He is friends of Mr. Connery's agent and when ever Mr. Connery was scheduled to be at his office the agent would let my friend know and he would meet the agent and Mr. Connery at the office and have him sign 10-15 photos in person during their meetings

It's not authentic, IMO.

Sorry, I don’t think it is real either.

Atypical.

This is not authentic, IMO. The story also has all the telltale signs of being fabricated by forgers: the “obtained by a friend who was friends with the agent/manager/assistant” are all red flags to me and don’t help the legitimacy or authenticity of the signature.
