Does this really look like the hand of an 13 year old? I believe it is a secretarial/proxy etc. I just looked at some 1941 sigs and this is much to developed and stylish.

1941 contracts I've seen were signed for her by her mother who also signed her own name - this is not her hand.

Thank you for your help as always Eric. I can clearly see the differences.

This autograph is worrisome. Here is a late 1940 for comparison.

+1 exactly.

Thank you for your help Joe.

1941 Temple autograph collected by a young Andy Warhol:

Studio portrait of Shirley Temple with handwritten inscription: “To Andrew Worhola [sic] from Shirley Temple”, 1941
hand-colored sepia print
10 x 8 in. (25.4 x 20.3 cm.)
The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh; Founding Collection, Contribution The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc.
TC61.3

Please tell me this is real because of not then Andy Warhol himself was out of luck......

Genuine to my knowledge.

Thanks Eric because Andy treasured the signed photo throughout his entire life. What a shame if his most prized possession from childhood turned out to be a forgery.
