Hi There!

First off all I am new here. My name is Derk, 25 years old and I am from The Netherlands. I came across the Album "L.A. Woman" signed by the entire band. I attached a picture of the album, including the certificate of authenticity and a close up of the autograph of Jim Morrison himself.

The asking price is 1500 euro and compared to prices on Ebay it made me a little sceptical. Also could not find the company behind the Certificate Of Authenticity.

What do you guys think? I am a proper beginner when it comes down to autograph authenticity.

Thanks!

Too good to be true. ;)

Welcome. Unfortunately, this isn't authentic. I've seen a Jimi Hendrix "signed" LP with a COA from this same company in which the signature looked just as bad.

Thanks J.Seah and BallroomDays67, indeed it seemed to good to be true. Many thanks for your time and advise. You saved me quite some money!

There's a real jim morrison signature at rrauction.com if you want to bid on it.

Hmmm...Jim moves to Paris in March 1971 ...LA Woman is released in April....I suppose it's plausible that the owner flew back and forth from Europe to get all the signatures....and then he takes his prized album and places the record into his collection where the cover gets all scuffed and worn down...cool!

Here's another one from the same incompetent forger.

This is definitely not authentic.               Jack...

Heres one on ebay for you.
