I have been offered a really nice autographed picture of Sir Alec Guinness. It looks legit..I have compared it With serveral others. BUT, it's written in golden ink!? Have never seen one of those before, have any of you guys?

Thanks for any input on the matter. :-)

I don't think the color of the ink should necessarily matter if the autograph looks good. It's something to consider but I've seen some authentic autographs written in some very strange ink. You could post a picture here and have all of us look at if you're concerned?

Yes, I Will do that...-On My phone right now, but Will do. :-)

Here's the sig.

And the entire picture.

Waddya think?

I looked on eBay after your post and thought for sure you were interested in this item:

I'm in no way an expert, especially on Alec Guinness, but your desired photo seems to match favorably with this PSA-authenticated one.

Hm..Think me wants! ;-) Maybe I shall go for both? ;-)

I couldn't tell you with certainty whether the Obi-Wan is genuine. I'd get a PSA quick opinion on it if you're truly interested and willing to pay.

Yeah, it would be nice to know. Wonder how many who will be disappointed if thats the case? :-/

Way more collectors than we could count.  His Star Wars signed items are "Holy
Grails" to SW autograph collectors. They will pay big, big bucks for a signed photo.

Here are two I got through the mail from Sir Alec. They were signed in a bronze colored pen.

Great signatures Zipper! :-D I envy you....A SW Guinness is one of my most wanted.
