Over the last months a lot of single Lennon autograph appeared on Ebay. Personally I doubt all of them because of their look. In addition I think the chance to get more than one Beatle on paper is better as to have only one to sign. I heard that there are several very good fakes new on the market and it might be possible that these belong to them. ALL THREE had a "quick look" opinion with a positive result from REAL but this means nothing for me. Just for the matter of discussion - what do you think here?

The same seller claimed that this Macca also received a positive quick opinion from Roger. I don't believe that it's authentic.

Well you know that this is fake, the rest are still too difficult to figure out imo.

This is from the seller who offered the fake Macca letter to Mal Evans that was copied from a real letter that Macca wrote to Mal. This seller has offered a few Lennon signatures that all have a similar unusual look about them, one of which apparently was removed by eBay.

Awful stuff!
Wait untill Thorsten sees this, he is going to flip.

What should I say?

All those Lennons questioned in this thread (even the one from RR) were recently checked by one of the leading authoritys in Beatles autographs and handwriting and his answer was:

"I wouldn`t buy it!"

That`s enough for me.

Hi Thorsten

Are you allowed to say who the authority was?

The one in RR auction is from a forger.

No! Unfortunately not.

I'm always sceptical of items like these on ebay!

They are all fake - as i said weeks ago.

I have to admit that I would have beed fooled by the RR Lennon aswell.
