Here are some items i got recently.

The first is a Beatles fan club card, that was advertised on ebay as secretarial. I at first dismissed it, but its actually written by Paul, just not signed.

The second item is a nice postcard I got at auction, signed by John and George, some time in 1966 onwards. I've been told that they signed around 12 of these cards on the ferry SS Maid of Kent. I have seen two others sold at auction.

The third item is a signed copy of In His Own Write, which has been signed by Paul and Ringo also. This came from RR Auctions and was authenticated by Roger Epperson. I'm very happy with this.

Finally I picked up a nice signed Christmas card from ebay. However, these are signed by Neil Aspinall. Got it cheap, and a nice novelty item.

Hope you all like them,

Lewis

The christmas card

I think you're probably right that the fan club card was inscribed by Paul, but do you have the exemplars you used to determine that? It would be educational.

Nice stuff, BTW. Thanks for posting them.

Yes, attached are a couple example of Pauls writing.

The first he has written the inscription, his name, and Ringos.

Notice the 'from' and 'the Beatles'

The second he has written everything.

Notice the 'love from the Beatles'

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Lewis! Plain as day now that you pointed those exemplars out.

Nice collection. Congrats!

Nice stuff!...but I think that the Xmas card was signed by The Beatles fan club...not by Neil Aspinall...

the John and George I'm pretty sure are Neils.

Very nice.

Forgot to say, the Christmas card was actually from Rita who worked for the Liverpool fan club. I think she only found out recently that the sigs were fake. Must have been a huge disappointment.

The Xmas card looks to be fan club signatures...

Go to the Beatlebay website...hit autographs...then hit autograph examples...scroll down to example # 24...you'll see that the signatures on your Xmas card were done by the fan club...not Neil Aspinall...they even have an example of Aspinall's Beatles signatures too...

Looks like you might be right! The Paul is almost exactly the same as the Fanclub ones.
