Here are some items i got recently.

The first is a Beatles fan club card, that was advertised on ebay as secretarial. I at first dismissed it, but its actually written by Paul, just not signed.

The second item is a nice postcard I got at auction, signed by John and George, some time in 1966 onwards. I've been told that they signed around 12 of these cards on the ferry SS Maid of Kent. I have seen two others sold at auction.

The third item is a signed copy of In His Own Write, which has been signed by Paul and Ringo also. This came from RR Auctions and was authenticated by Roger Epperson. I'm very happy with this.

Finally I picked up a nice signed Christmas card from ebay. However, these are signed by Neil Aspinall. Got it cheap, and a nice novelty item.

Hope you all like them,

Lewis

These are the same signatures that you find on the fan club letters that would welcome you to the club...I still have mine...

I've finally got the Hard Days Write book in hand.

Can people give their views on the signatures? Its been pre-certified by RR Auctions and was authenticated by Roger Epperson (according to RR Auctions).

However Pauls signature looks a little odd...bit straight lines/pointy....maybe this is due to signing on the edge of the book? Where you havent anywhere to rest you hand?

Any thoughts on this would be great, thanks. Here it is again:

I've seen this one before, and all three signatures look authentic to me. What an awesome item.

Paul is a lefty so he would have been able to rest his hand on the book.  I think his signature is fine.

Thanks guys...forgot about Paul being leftie Terrier!

I'm very happy with the book BallroomDays, it wasnt cheap but its an upgrade to a Lennon only signed 'In His Own Write' (which i will sell on).

Just wish I knew who John Lennard was, and if he was at the Foyles book signing...also where he got Paul and Ringo to sign the book.

Has anyone here got a list of people at the luncheon?

I love this!

Seen them before...nice stuff...

The card signed by Paul is a beauty...did you get it cheap on ebay?

Thanks for the kind words and re-assurance guys. Glad you all like the book to.

Mark, I did get the card off ebay for a very good price. It was advertised as secretarial. As you say a very nice piece.

Does anyone know the approximate date of the fan club card inscription?

Anyone have any ideas?

Those Christmas cards were definitely the work of somebody at The Beatles Fan Club and not Neil Aspinall. When I was dealing in their autographs I'd often find these signatures on later period Beatles Fan Club items, definitely done in the same hand as these.

The other items are great of course.
