Yes that is correct, I just bought the photo from an Australian seller, I think we are referring to the same person.

I bought it, it arrived and I returned it. In reality it was a photograph taken of the real photograph, it was not signed. It was simply a photo of a photo.

I conveyed all of this feedback to the auctioneer in question.

Guess what they said?

"Our advice in this matter would be not to bid for the item" (if you believe this to be the case - otherwise eff off!). My reading of the reply.

Withdrawn from sale at the last moment.

So we can make a difference - I daresay others alerted them.

The ‘g’s in George are the sure give away.  Neil for sure.
