To cut an extremely long and complicated story short Fedex have miscalculated this time the amount of import duties I need to pay them on my latest r and r purchase so they are asking tripple the amount of money they normally do. I have sent them past Fedex invoices to show that they have calculated the import duties incorrectly but I just get a ramdom email back. Because of covid there is no one available to answer the phone. Does anyone know the amount of custom duties Fedex should be charging for autographs purchased from r and r and most crucially does anyone know what heading autographs come under because I am getting nowhere fast and going around and around in circles with Fedex?

FedEx are a nightmare because there's so many departments.
The taxes are different from country to country but the UK has so many different tax brackets for different items it's really confusing.
I suggest you contact rr' s help team so they can contact their FedEx representative.

I have done that already and not had a reply back . They dont like getting involved because its nothing to do with them once it leaves r and r . I dont want to get threatened with court action either if I dont pay so I need to sort it out but its really hard with no human being to explain it to because of covoid

I had customs seize my item from rr for 8 months because they weren't aware of the law that were imposed on some items. You bet it's their responsibility if something goes missing or customs papers haven't been filled out correctly. With FedEx you don't get anywhere
