I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

I figured with them being all from the UK you would have no issues adding to your collection?

I've looked on the net around google etc. but I find no websites to buy from. I leave out ebay for obvious reasons but I can't find any autograph websites that have these autographs - if anyone can recommend any UK dealers who have Driver/Boyega/Ridley in stock, I would be eternally grateful. I would've gone through K-9 in a heartbeat as they have some wonderful items, but the customs charges would be too much. I'm hoping some of them might just actually attend LFCC in spring and can get autos/photos that way, but I'm not holding out much hope.

This guy is in the UK and he's a class act. Also, he knows the LA guys and he flies out to collect with them from time to time.

You guys know my stance on this, I think you're all nuts paying these prices to get their IP scribbles before the movie even comes out.  LFCC has already promised episode 7 guests, Celebration would be a huge disappointment if they don't have any episode 7 guests, and if OPX and Coolwaters are going to survive, they will have to venture into the new trilogy as well.  Plus Disney will likely tap into the market at some point.. they're not ones to miss out on making money.  They are already selling Star Wars autographs in the parks.

Not to mention they still have 2 more movies to make with this main cast.. plenty of opportunities for autographs in the near future.  Be patient.

I think the prices for the I.P. autographs are a lot of money, suggesting to me they are rare but they don't seem that rare to me, but I could be wrong. Problem is, I don't live in the US where getting IP autographs is simpler. Also, celebration seems to sell out very quickly.

Personally, I agree with your stance Mike on Coolwaters and OPX. They will need to dwelve into the SW field for the new trilogy but having lost the SW licence, this will prove difficult. Also, I have reasons why perhaps I could be wary of buying merchandise through Disney.

I've seen some Boyega pieces having looked at the AFTAL website but even then, I am now extremely cautious about buying through the internet. I am struggling though to find Driver and Ridley autographs - they seem to be the more elusive. The Boyegas I found start at £40 - £70, but I don't know what realistic prices there should be for the three.

I really want to meet some of the SW cast and I hope L.F.C.C. in spring can match Celebration as this, as I say, seemed to sell out very quickly, but I want to see who is attending before I pay out to attend any such event, such as at the last L.F.C.C. in July where they had some truly excellent guests.

There's nothing rare about them other than they are new and in demand.  They have signed at every almost every public appearance they have made.  As they make more appearances and sign more autographs (and the initial movie hype dies down), demand will shrink and prices will go down.

Also, if they start signing at conventions or private signings for $50 a pop, the days of spending $300 on a black sharpie scribble are immediately over.

I wouldn't have any qualms buying from Disney, personally I don't see OPX or Coolwaters remaining relevant for much longer.

Even if I'm 100% wrong and none of these guys ever do a private signing or convention appearance in their entire careers.. how much more can they be worth?  You're already paying $200-400 for each one.. you can get Harrison Ford for that price.

So in my opinion there is no risk in waiting.

All possible valid points, but how much risk is there in having a full early Daisy Ridley signature?

If she shows up at any show anywhere to sign in the future you may get a "Daisy" if you win the lottery for a wristband, but you won't see a $50 signing fee with her name next to it, certainly not in the next decade.

If she makes any appearance to sign for a fee instead of a lottery type signing, $400 will be the minimum and a VIP package will be needed to get in the same room.

None if you're happy with it.. But I don't think she'll be first name only at a paid signing, and I don't think she'll be 4x as popular or expensive as Mark Hamill.

I'll bet you a daisy ridley signature. Friendly wager.

As long as you have one as nice as mine to lose, I'll take that bet.

Hahahahha.

Dang, now i have to buy one.  I didn't think this one through did I :P

I find it hard to believe that Daisy Ridley will be sitting down at a convention table to sign autographs any time soon Mike T.  I could be wrong of course.  I just can't imagine it at this time.

Why not?  She's a nobody right now and has her whole career ahead of her, could go well, could tank. There's a lot of people much more accomplished that sign at conventions and it's only becoming a more popular thing to do.  I know Pete thinks she's going to pull a Portman, but I know a few people at Disney who say otherwise.
