Hi guys, thanks for the help previously. I chanced upon these Star Wars The Force Awakens cast signed posters on ebay. Apparently these were given out to VIPs at the Premiere event in LA. I have a chance to get something similar but of a different serial number and would thus like to ask for opinions as to its authenticity before committing.

The Mark Hamill autograph looks off to me.

Appreciate the help!

Poor forgeries. This is a pretty common scam these days, making it look like the signatures came straight from the studio. Non-collectors seem to be easily duped by it.

Wiseguy39 and westschu are the latest perpetrators, not surprisingly from the hotspot for garbage forgeries (Florida).

Thanks for the reply, luckily I double checked. May I know if you know of any listing(not limited to ebay) of an authentic autographed poster/photo of the Star Wars cast. It can be from The Force Awakens or other previous episodes. Thanks!

There's a great Star Wars autographs thread here you can jump into for help.

Absolutely fake.  Most of these charity fundraisers who deal in autographed items are massive scams.  The COA is worthless.

It's amazing how much money you can make if you don't have any morals.

definitely a forgery and all in the same hand.

Did they supply other autographs?
Most charity fundraising Type places soley profiteer on forgeries because the common buyer/biz/schools really know nothing about autographs and are easy an easy cash grab.
There is no such thing as signed posters given away at premiers. These are all fake, there's not a single authentic cast signed Force Awakens poster on eBay.

Thanks Mike, will look around for a legitimate piece. Currently, the ones from OfficialPix look pretty good to me. Wonder if you have any advice on this company as I am still relatively new to collecting autographs from the Star Wars franchise. Thanks!

Official pix is good, but they don't have any force awakens stuff. Always ask for help before you buy anything, especially starting out. I still do it 15 years later.

Celebrity Authentics had older posters in the 2500 area. Josh Clark Real autograph collectors club had one (facebook). The listing ended maybe he knew you were on to him or sold it cheaper on the side. Bad thing about some of these sellers, they include official looking All access passes and certs even mentioning Disney! I wish the Mouse would sue these guys.
