Looks about right to me. Probably signed about twenty years ago seeing how it’s a slightly more full signature whereas ones signed today tail off a lot sooner in his last name making a shorter quicker signature.

Not sure about your Spielberg autograph, Karl, but here is another one I bought years ago from an eBay-seller. The signature is part of a book, the German first edition of "Close Encounters of the third kind". The book itself is from 1978.Would be happy about your opinons concerning this autograph!

Much earlier version when he signed his full name. Probably dates to 1980s or earlier.

Just found another Spielberg-signature on a contract from 1976 which ist quite similar to the one above.

I agree with JMS.  Both autographs look pretty typical to me.
