Hello everyone,

Any thoughts on this signed screener/promo CD from Stevie Nicks?

If it is real, is it worth sending off to be officially authenticated? If so, what company would you recommend for musicians? Also, would I send off the entire CD or just what is signed (the cover art in this case).

Thank you very much for any thoughts.

This looks real.  You can just send the cover sleeve to PSA without disc/case if you want their LOA.

Thank you very much.

I'm looking into PSA. I don't quite understand the Label Placement. Would I want them to put the label on the cover sleeve? Seems like that would devalue the item? Thanks again.

If a sticker is put on the item, over the UPC code on the back would be the least obtrusive.

Personally I would have the sticker placed on the Letter of Authenticity.

True. I was originally just thinking of sending in the front cover sleeve. Obviously the UPC code is on the back cover sheet. For CDs, does it make more sense to send in the entire jewel case (I can leave the CD itself out)?

Thanks again. Appreciate any advice. First time doing this process, but if I get the hang of it, I have a large collection of baseball HoF that I got ttm in the mid-late 80s that I would love to get authenticated some day.

I would just send the sleeve. The jewel case can get damaged in transit and there is absolutely no reason the third party authentication company needs it to authenticate the signature on the sleeve.

Thank you.

I read the label section again and it says "Only available for items with an authentication price of $50 or more, or items with Letter Upgrade...Check “On Item”
box if you want the certification label placed on the item. The label will be placed on the LOA of items with unchecked boxes. Items $49 and less without Letter Upgrade will have label placed on the item."

Nicks is $35 authentication price which sounds like they would place the label directly on the sleeve. Is it worth paying the extra $15 for the Letter Upgrade?

I assume in either case, if it is authentic, they will send a LOA?

Thanks again

They no longer send a LOA or card if under $50. You have to pay to get letter now if you want more than just the sticker on item. They stopped doing the cards that went with the stickers altogether. They now only have sticker on item for items without letter upgrade.

Oh, I see.

If I was planning on selling it, would I be better off paying the $15 for Letter upgrade? Or is the sticker sufficient? Thanks.

It depends on the item and buyer. Personally I avoid items with stickers on them so I would very much prefer the letter with the sticker on the letter.
That being said there are lots of collectors that are fine with the sticker on the item.
