Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.
thanks

Well how about that, just like the known in person sigs. Even looks like an older MAN signed them. Good job!
Thanks Roger!! Looks like they are now doing it the right way.
I am very happy with how they handled it after the fact. No hard feelings and they more than took care of me. Gave me these 3 for just the one I paid for and even signed the 45 when I didn't even ask him too. Very very cool!
Ms. Lewis did write a note saying "We always personalize but just for you we will not! However, please don't resale on Ebay etc. We trust you."
MAN!!!! What a journey autograph collecting can be!!
Mark
That should quite any doubters of the others being secretarial.
Yes sir.. thanks for your input, Roger!
Mark
Yes SIR - Thank you Mr. Lewis!!
I did some digging and found some images of in person signatures that I know who got them and notice how closely they look to the ones you got back;
This one was gotten by my friend Owen Sweeney about 12 years ago
This one is from JJL's friend Nick that was signed sitting on his couch at his home
This one came from Houston photographer Larry Lent
Notice how they all have the same correct tendancies as the ones you got.
So what we have gathered here is this;
Of all the known in person signatures we have seen they all are very similar and do not look like the questioned TTM autographs that some people received.
We had an assistant that worked for JLL tell a collector that his daughter signs his mail.
When JLL was questioned about it and he had a photo of him signing items sent TTM, they came back looking like known in person autographs and not like the questioned TTM ones.
When Mark sent his back with no money and told them what we at AML had discussed all three of his items came back looking like the known in person autographs we have seen and not like the questioned TTM autographs.
The only supposedly "in person" autograph that looked like the questioned TTM was from a seller on Ebay and I think he mailed it to him.
Did I miss anything?
Nope.. that about sums it up nicely
Mark , very nice. I have that same 45 sleeve that I want to send off. Since I got back what is deemed to be a secretarial, what exactly did you state in your letter to gain a legit signature without sending any money? Did you refer to this website and the topic at hand? Did youuse anyone's name? I dont want to use anyone's name if it make them uncomfortable. Thanks
I just sent Judith a letter and said that we had a autograph forum and it was determined that "for some reason" the signatures are not the signature of Jerry Lee Lewis. If she could please take care of this for me. And I included return postage etc. I let her know I was a fan and was really wanting a real signature etc.. Plus I did address the package directly to her.
Hope that helps and for the record - I might be sending 2 more to get signed and pay his $100 fee per. Its well worth it in my book!!
thanks
Mark
