No, you're correct, it was a new release, just like the just announced album is a new release.  I'll expect some kind of signed version at some point for this new album since, as you said, it's not a rerelease.  

Jason above did not specifically mention rereleases, he hypothesized that her massive autograph releases are over, not rereleases.  Since that has been how she has always done things, I would expect it to continue.  But once again, we shall see.

Much is still TBA, but she seems to have a fixation on "12" this time out...

From someone who has all signed CD's from lover to current there is no pattern with her. Totally random!
