Here is a common set of "Florida" forgeries listed by eBay seller shawn15531

This crap usually comes in an intricate display that is meant to diguise the forgery. This junk is bought cheap at estate auctions by people who know NOTHING about autographs, and try to flip it on ebay profit.

This comes with a "COA", from GFA (Guaranteed Forged Autograph). One of the easiest ways to tell these sellers know NOTHING about autographs, is the ridiculous BIN price of $1,099 for a FAKE item. LOLOLOLOL.

Here is an AUTHENTIC piece, same photo:

I recently read "Joe DiMaggio: A Hero's Life", in the book they said that at one point Ted Williams wanted to "price himself out of the market" so he started charging $350 for autographs. Joe DiMaggio's price at the time was $150. Joe continued to sign for $150, HOWEVER, if you brought a photo of him and Ted Williams, Joe would charge $375.... LOL. (Joe thought he should be the highest/best paid out of any of them, and especially would not be lower than his rival Teddy Ballgame).
