The Doors and Jim Morrison autographs--would appreciate opinions on authenticity

I respect a lot of what I've read on this site.  So much so that I'd love your opinions on this Morrison/Doors supposed authentic auto.

American rock band The Doors, 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" inches, 1970, Hand signed by American rock band The Doors, Set of hand signed autographs, signed by all original members of American band "The Doors". These signatures are like gold dust nowadays. To find a set like these is next to impossible. These were signed in England in 1970. Signed on paper. The paper is showing signs of age, with some foxing, and one signature is on the back with three on the front. Still a very rare set to get your hands on. The foxing looks worse in my photographs than when you have it in your hand. All the autographs are still very clear. The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, with Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore. size 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" inches

Many thanks,

Chris

Yes, I have one who was owned by a stage hand who was working in L.A. in the mid to late sixties. But to be honest Im not completely sure about it. (90% of it looks good, but I still have questions about the other (10%) of it...I know what Jack would say about it. Not sure how to post it. Jim signed in many different fashions during his short life. So I'm not completely sure of mine. But it did come with a COA, stating that the signature, styles, strokes and notations are constant with those of Jim Morrison.

Well we can help you post it if you like.

Thank you Paul, I live in Texas and a lot going on here....got to get some sleep...Ill get back to you soon, and yes I would like for you to help me post it. talk to you soon, Thank you. Big day tomorrow, goodnight.

Teresa, if you post your Jim sig, I would only give my honest opinion on it. If my opinion is that I think it's authentic, I'd be the first person to congratulate you on owning it.

Thank you Jack, can't wait to post it. But to be honest, Im not sure its authentic, Im glad I got it for a fairly good price. Ill post it as soon as I can. Thanks again...

P.S. are there any exeplars of the I being "not separate" from the O R R ? .....Jack?

The odds...but, I'll respect that in a way. I had an fairly early Bowie that was "secretarial" all around, until I spent a few months showing otherwise.

I want to chime in as well. These are not good for the reasons already listed and more. I hate that someone just spent $800 on this.
Such an obvious forgery.Cant believe the winner didnt do his homework and look at atleast one real example.Just one look would of helped him realize immediatly.

Well, all I can say is, I wish I had that 3 person autograph, and got it for only $800. Heck, I obtained My Authentic COA,PSA (Perfect) Keith Moon autograph for less than $400. The person needed the money and didn't realize what he really had.....

I don't know. Would that not mean everyone here and everyone watching that auction was wrong but you? All respekt, but...the odds? Why didn't I buy it? You?

Teresa, I have 121 authentic exemplars in my files and these four sigs are the only ones I've seen which he connects the "ORR" to the "I" and are one continuous signature. They are his three yearbook sigs and his Pony Express poem he wrote when he was 11 years old.Other than those, the 'I' is always signed isolated and by itself with the exception of these two where the "I" is connected to the "S".
