The Good Dr Hunter S Thompson - authentic?

Hello all. Does anybody have an opinion on the authenticity of this signed Hunter S Thompson book?

I think you did well, Judge. It’s a full signature and not signed on a bookplate. Depending on the title and the edition, Thompson’s signed books are usually offered by dealers at $500+ and can bring over $1,000.

Thanks Steve. It's signed on a first edition HB copy of Songs Of The Doomed - Gonzo Collection Volume 3 - published 1990. 

Okay, it's not Hells Angels, Vegas or Campaign Trail '72, but a nice collection of writing nonetheless. The book's in a sweet condition also. 

I've been after a Doctor Gonzo autograph since forever but never been able to afford one. Mission accomplished.
