The Pretenders\Chrissie Hynde signed "Hate For Sale", CD from Newbury

I got one of these the other day...

I thought mine looked real, however i guess it is not as I just got this e-mail. Did anybody else get this?

Thanks for the references to the other legit stores. I've gotten quite a bit from Newbury and have always been happy. I understand that Townsend can't control what the artists and record companies do, but they can control their response to situations like this. Unfortunately, their response has left much to be desired, and that's too bad as I've gotten some decent stuff from them in the past (The Heavy and Echo and The Bunnymen come immediately to mind). I'll think I will pass on anything from Townsend from now on if they can't provide better service than this.

Another good place in the US is musicrecordshop.com. I've gotten some unbelievable items from them in the past, however they haven't gotten much lately as they depended on bands touring through the area to get items signed. Covid 19 put an end to that, though they still get some items direct from the musicians still.

I got the same no signed booklets I messages them on facebook and said it;s bad enough that there autopens but who ever is shipping this stuff don't know how to read I want my 2 signed cd booklets, they right away messaged me back and shipped 2 out I have not received them yet but they were shipped

I also received my order of two CDs (unsigned) that didn't include extra liners. I contacted them and they later notified me that they had shipped the signed liners. I will post mine when I receive them.
