Thanks so much. Fisherman’s Blues is one of my favorite albums.

Mine too, but the new album is not that,

This latest incarnation turns them into an Americana honky-tonk band,

I saw them live the other night and just could not get used to some cowboy hat wearing keyboardist (decent at playing as he was), playing Wickham's fiddle parts or Thistlethwaite's sax parts on the older hits.

Mike Scott is still uniquely Mike, but this passion project to lionize Dennis Hopper still has me scratching my head.  More Hopper songs coming in December too - The Waterboys - The Waterboys Present: Rips From The Cutting Room F... Genius! Hurrah.

Andys link had signed copies of their past albums also and I nabbed one of fisherman’s blues. Must not have been many as it was sold out when I checked back shortly later and they even already shipped. I’m really happy with this as it’s always been a favorite of mine.

Great timing,

He must have signed while in Nashville on Monday,

and all the older offerings are sold out (new album is still available)

And speaking of the extras/outtakes record preorders (out Dec 5):
