The seller is asking £1100. He said he's refused offers of £600. They are on eBay UK. One shaky one could be circumstances, but three shaky ones and you begin to question. If you are paying a premium price they do need to look the part.

Telling you he refused offers of a certain amount is a scare tactic. The signatures are no good. It is quite easy to tell that at least three of these signatures are written in the same hand. There are several letter formations that are exactly the same in more than one name.

My thoughts. He sells regular antiques, so probably not aware and he thinks he's sitting on a gold mine. Bless!

Here's my theory. The John is in a different colour ink and could be authentic. The other three have been copied on this paper. It has toned tape but the bit attached to the book looks clear.

He probably thinks they are authentic, but is being greedy.
