Lol yeah, not much effort went into this one

I’ve already gifted mine to someone who has started reading it. What’s the chances of a refund, discount etc?

I’m not sure, it may depend on where you purchased it. I know that that here in the US, Barnes & Noble didn’t ask any questions on the Liza returns if they were within 30 days. It’s definitely worth a shot, if it’s still in new condition

Oh and this is one signed in person this week

Thanks, I saw another one as well on eBay. I guess the NYC event was last night…so this is probably what a real one looks like.

And now the signed version has been pulled from everywhere it seems! Wonder why??!!

Yeah, based on the email that went out, it seems like the publisher has pulled the signed editions. It doesn’t appear to be currently available and orders are being canceled.

Hachette owns both Headline (UK copies) and Grand Central Publishing (US copies, and who also published the Liza book).

It’s interesting that some copies clearly got out, which makes me wonder what exactly happened behind the scenes.

Premiere Collectibles was offering the optional JSA authentication on these, so maybe something got caught there. Maybe it was the early online chatter about possible autopen. Or maybe Hachette caught something internally during some last minute quality control.

Either way, it seems pretty clear they are trying to avoid further attention/backlash. Glad they are doing the right thing, but it should’ve never happened to begin with.
