I will give you a little clue he played on 2 joni mitchel albums and this shirt is a 1979 joni mitchell tour shirt. It looks pretty beat to hell and back snd the autograph is very clear and i have only ever seen 3 other of his autographs on google. Has anyone on here got one of jaco's? I would really like to compare it ? Thank you

Let me try. Jaco Pastorius.

Yeah i kind of gave it away Haha. I never thought i would seenone come up for sale i havent ever seen one have you ?

Jimi Hendrix of the bass guitar haha

Pretty unlucky its on a shirt and not paper but im not going to be picky when its jaco's they barely ever come up if ever

Pat Matheny Jazz Guitarist

Well spotted :)

I obtained a signed Weather Report programme with Jaco’s full name and address details,, which I sold on this forum a few years ago. It was originally obtained by the original Bass player in Whitesnake, whom I obtained it from. It was a beautiful item and wish I didn’t need the money at the time!

Thats really nice i have always been a huge fan of jaco my dad got me into him from a young age and its really cool to have a piece of jaco history :)

What price did you end up selling it for ?  I dont have anything to compare it to price wise. I wouldn't sell this though unless i was going to be homeless to be honest. Im going to get it framed any tips on frameing shirts ? Thanks

Sold it for just under £500.

That's a good price. I was pretty lucky with this i paid £253. The guy was just selling cups and pottery and had this shirt to. This was the description he had
