Unknown autograph

I thought I’d try my luck here to see if anybody recognizes this autograph. I know it’s sports, it’s at an auction in my area and it’s signed on a college football so I’m assuming it’s Michigan State University or University of Michigan. It looks like ‘Ed, 40 ____ !’ But that’s about as far as I can get. Does anybody have any idea who it could be? Thanks

So, look at the University of Notre Dame. They had a head coach named Tyrone Willingham.

FWIW, I only spend some of the time looking at specific letters. I also look at the whole name and try to envision what someone might have been writing, taking into account a few abbreviated or skipped letters. On this one, most of the last name just appeared to me.
