Hello.
Want to add Macca signed guitar/bass to the collection, but cant find the one I would love.
This 'no pickguard' on guitar auto seems suitable :)
What do you think about the autograph itself, It doesn't look so nice as many other pickguard autos, but still...
Would you rather prefer nicer, cleaner (maybe older non-shortened) pickguard signature?
Is this worth bidding?
Many thanks
BR

the first thing to establish is whether or not the signature is authentic. This one looks good to me. the rest of the questions really should be answered by the potential buyer, as it becomes a personal choice.
It's simple Julien's don't authenticate items apparantly, you don't get a coa, so if you want a coa then maybe best buying from a company that supplies coa's automatic.
There again Juliens make millions a year so it wouldn't bother them if a forum of non buyers has a judgement on their items.
COA's are worth about as much as your opinions, S Parr. Keep them to yourself.
The autograph looks good to me, it's got a COA from Tracks, who are up there with the best, and it's a neat item. It's something I'd love to have. I would not recommend doing business with Julien's, but I think you'd have a hard time going wrong here.
Ask for a condition report and images of all sides of the guitar, if they're not online.
Make sure you know all the commission and packaging and shipping costs to get to guitar to you. Ask them if they handle all the arrangements.
