im leaning to it being real and one off the reasons is they tricked van  into signing it, i  belive as its not on the good part of the pick guard.

i personaly wouldnt buy anything on a pickguard under the strings its a waste off money he signed plenty off acoustic guitars and pick guards properly

Thanks, yes, I see the problem with under the strings. We used to trick ballplayers into signing books they wouldn't want to, just have them sign the blank front flyleaf. But I don't see how someone could trick a musician into signing a pickguard!

John, what do you think of the Lit Up Inside book signature?

its called being boarded ,its been going on for overv 17 years with musicans . i wont spill the beans on how its done  but  its very common

we once had pete townshend do a stack till he figured it out around 1995.

it very ingenouse

but as i said the guy who had it signed is an idiot if he did have van boarded he could have had him sign the right way as van would never have know

but thats the reason u see alot of band signed all over the pick guard is the wont sign them any other way.

i wont touch under the strings
