A starting price that low is either an extremely confident seller or a fake.

Granted, either way, given the number of "New Listing" signed Ernie Banks autographs they're selling, I can't say I'd feel good giving them my money for anything. But, of course, that's another issue.

Man them sigs are close, too bad for the smudge or wet bit one.

That's nice.

the dimaggio in the subject is authentic, price is definitely affected by the smudge, which detracts greatly from the value. there are too many pristine examples out there for someone to spend a lot on one with a smudge.

Right. You can routinely find "non authenticated" authentic DiMaggio SPs with flawless sigs for $90 - $100. It's not like it's a rare or expensive autograph that collectors will overlook flaws.

Maybe I am off, but in a case like this, a flaw means at least a 50% discount... Not just a few bucks less.

This particular pose is extremely hard to find. The 2-retail sellers who offer this on Fee bay try to get upwards of $400.00 for this glossy B&W 8 x10 photo, with and with-out a cert.

I agree the wholesale price of this photo about is about 90-100....even with the smudge. If someone gets it for $50-90, I think that's a solid deal. I wouldn't sell the one I have for less than $175.00, for whatever it's worth.

No question authentic. You can find great deals on Joe D sigs.
